Recently I saw a group of Englishmen it photographed.
The Mainzer Rathaus complex cost the city Mainz at that time approx. 80 millions DM.

Description

Das Rathaus am Rheinufer unweit der Theodor-Heuss-Brücke gelegen, wurde von Arne Jacobsen und Otto Weitling im Jahr 1966/1970 entworfen und von 1970 bis 1974 gebaut, bildet mit dem Hilton-Hotel und der Rheingoldhalle einen aus der Moderne stammenden Komplex.
