Officially reopened in 2003, the city library of Bad Homburg nicely represents the mixture of old and modern architecture. The increased gross floor area in the newly built zone gives the visitor a spacious feeling which is also influenced by the dark wooden floor and the light signal colours on walls and at special spots. A small cafe is integrated as well as reading and working / studying sections on different floors.
