This church is very impressing. I wonder wether ourbania should introduce an additional category, as there are some real architectural highlights among churches. Just think of Notre Dame du Haut at Ronchamp/France by Le Corbusier.

What do you think?

Description

Redefining sacred space: with its concrete walls, the small church may look unspectacular from the outside. But once you get inside, it reveals a stunnig contrast between light and shade. It was designed by the famous architect Tadao Ando (who did not receive any formal architectural schooling).
