Casa Milá was a predecessor of some buildings with a similar biomorphic appearance:

- Einstein Tower in Potsdam,
- S. R. Guggenheim Museum in NY,
- Chapelle Notre Dame du Haut,
- the Hundertwasserhaus,
- Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles

Casa Milà is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. With its wavy facade, it has become a landmark of Barcelona. The sculptures on the roof are very impressive.
