The courtrooms look really funny. They could be beeyards or wine casks, as Bordeaux is an excellent wine region known for its red "Bordeaux" wines.

The architectural structure shown in this picture is actually a courtroom: "The seven courtroom 'pods', are clad in cedar wood, raised on pilotis within a great glass wall under an undulating copper roof. The 'flask'-like volumes of the courtrooms allow daylight deep into the internal spaces.
