The Olympiastadium in Munich was an excellent athletics stadium but not a modern soccer arena. So there is now the Allianz Arena so the Olympiastadium can rest in piece now..

It is nice to have such a mega shopping mall, but one also needs to consider the consequences for retailers in the cities aroud Weiterstadt. Consumers will drift from the city centers to LOOP5 and the city centers will die out. What do you think?

The Town-Hall is the landmark of Hamburg. It has a beautiful, old architecture and symbolize the long tradition of Hamburg.

Erste Planungsideen

Für den Hafenpark wird ein Ideenwettbewerb ausgeschrieben. Erste Ideen aus dem Amt für Grünflächen gehen in Richtung Skateranlage oder Bolzplatz. Auch eine Tartanbahn für Jogger ist im Gespräch. Zieltermin für den ersten Spatenstich: Herbst 2010 oder Frühjahr 2011.

This InterCity Hotel has opened its doors now. Regarding the location, it's a good alternative especially for those visiting the Frankfurt fair. For Mainz, it's a pity the investors didn't made a point of creating a good looking front. It's just boring gray.

great atmosphere

The atmosphere in that stadium is just great. Sitting in the upper sections enables you to have a great view on the whole arena; I really recommend to go there and have a look, especially enjoying a game.

Security and building structure

Due to security reasons, the observation deck was closed by airport authorities. There was also an incident in 2007 concerning the building structure of the restaurant: "Inspectors uncovered the problem after a 1,000-pound piece of white stucco fell off the underside of one of the arches and smashed into the eatery's roof." (LA Times).

I like the style of this tower. It will be part of my next trip to Berlin. What kind of restaurant is in there? I have read that a reconstruction is planned. Do you have any idea when the tower will be reopened again?
