I like the design of the two offset parts of the building. It looks a bit like it's part of a tetris game.

For me "The Bird's Nest" rather looks like a stadium covered with rubber bands...

Nice form, but gray front

This InterCity Hotel has opened its doors now. Regarding the location, it's a good alternative especially for those visiting the Frankfurt fair. For Mainz, it's a pity the investors didn't made a point of creating a good looking front. It's just boring gray.

Die Zielhöhe ist bereits erreicht, Fenster sind auch schon drin. Ein hübsches ovales Gebäude. Macht sich optisch gut in dem Eck. Fotos folgen.
