Ourbania gets more and more known on the globe!

The international real estate website Overseaspropertymall.com has just published an interview with the founder of mediaman. Mediaman initiated the project ourbania in cooperation with the Eurohypo AG. Interview topics are the concept behind the scenes, the status of the project and Stefan von den Driesch shows which features are planned in future releases.

An interesting project and initiative from Germany's Federal Cultural Foundation makes its World tour, which focusses on the tendency of so called "shrinking cities". The project is time limited up to three years and has the aim to widen the interest in this complex topic and open people's eyes by supporting the public discussion.

During the project, global urban shrinking processes were analysed, results were pubished and currently, the project organises exhibitions all over the world. Details concerning the project and the exhibitions can be found at:

Win one of six vouchers to the amount of 80 Euro for a concert-ticket

On Saturday, November 10, 2007, the O2 World in Berlin opens it doors for all visitors on the occasion of Open House, on which Ourbania has a special offer:
All citizens of Ourbania are welcomed to build their multi-functional arena all over the world until January 31, midnight. Each one has the chance to win one of six vouchers to the amount of 80 Euro for a concert-ticket in a multi-functional arena close to your place and available to Eurohypo.

Some of you may wonder why they are able to log-in but aren’t able to build or comment on urban items. Reason why: you did not confirm the link in your validation e-mail, so your e-mail address is not verified. Until then you have a guest status with limited rights. We admit that the three links figuring in the message are a bit confusing and we are working on changing this validation e-mail as soon as possible.

A lot of new Citizens have joined ourbania during the last weeks and I heartily welcome you guys. I am sure that many people are interested in getting to know you a little bit better, so I invite you to upload your picture and tell a few things about yourself – who you are, what you do or maybe why you are here. I am also very curious to see, what your favourite buildings are, so do not hesitate to actively participate in the community. You can upload pictures of buildings and write a few words about them, comment other citizens’ architectural favourites and many other things.
