The infamous 'Neues Museum' or 'New Museum' in Berlin, Germany, was designed by Friedrich August Stüler in the mid-19th century. Unfortunately, the historical icon was almost completely destroyed during World War II. On March 5 of this year, the museum finished its full renovation. The leading architect was award-winning David Chipperfield along with Julian Harrap. The museum will house the works of the Egyptian Museum and the Museum of Pre- and Early History. In October 2009, the museum will open for viewing. Follow the link to view this project on ourbania: http://ourbania.com/urban-items/neues-museum
